ICC members are broken down into three different groups:
ICC dues are quite affordable and based upon the group an entity falls within and cover a 12 month period. Dues are billed annually at the approximate anniversary month membership began. Please contact us to discuss the category you fall within and the dues structure.

Networking & Promotional Opportunities:
- The ICC Annual Meeting held in December is a members-only event with representatives from our over 100 member companies participating.
- -Member company representatives have the opportunity to interact and input a multiple times throughout the year within the ICC committee structure concerning input on federal, state, and local initiatives and strategies to be employed on issues of significance.
- Opportunity to participate in events such as the annual coal related golf outing.
- The ICC keeps membership apprised of recent federal and state issues that could impact Indiana’s coal industry and its associated member companies.
- A listing in the ICC member directory.
Collaboration on Industry Issues:
- Five committees bring together very active and passionate industry professionals to work in the areas of promotion of coal as an affordable, abundant, and reliable energy source; legal issues affecting the industry; environmental issues related to air, water, and waste; underground issues related to operations and safety and health; and other matters potentially affecting coal’s use.
- Relationships and opportunities for open dialog with several state and federal agencies such as the Indiana Department of Environmental Management, Indiana Department of Natural Resources, Indiana Department of Labor Bureau of Mines, U.S. Department of Labor Mine Safety & Health Administration; and U.S. Department of Interior Office of Surface Mining Reclamation & Enforcement.
- Opportunities for interaction with Indiana’s legislative officials at the state and federal levels.
Membership Types:

- Entities that produce coal (Producers);
- Entities that hold large coal reserves (Reserve Holders);
- Entities that provide service to the coal industry (Associate).
